Tayla began piping at 7, and by 10 had played in Glasgow. Now 15, she has national, Sth Pacific and Australasian titles – both solo and in bands. Selected in 2022 for the NZ Youth Pipe Band, Tayla is recognised as one of NZ’s most promising pipers. She has her eye on more international solo piping competitions, and a goal to one day join the NZ Police Pipe Band. This Grant will help Tayla compete at the One World Pipe Band Champs in Scotland.
