At 16, Henry has only been competing for two years. But in 2023 alone he made 2 NZ Shooting teams, won an Island title, won/placed in several open grade competitions at provincial/national levels, was selected for a South Island team, in high school Team of the Year and Canterbury region and won Year 11 Sportsperson of year. Selected for the NZ team to compete at the World Clay Target Shooting Champs in the UK in July, this Grant will help Henry get there and also compete at the European Open, Other Countries Open and British Open. His ultimate goal is Commonwealth and Olympic Games.
